Customer Water Meter Location Approval Customers requesting water service who DO NOT already have a water meter installed must complete the steps in this form BEFORE the Yerington Public Works will install a meter pit and water meter. Please place a stake in the ground and mark the stake with your address and the word “WATER.” The location you select must be within the utility easement, which extends 10’ into the front of your property. I understand that the City of Yerington WILL NOT move the meter pit after it is installed.
