2026 DUE BY: MAR 13th by 5:00 pm at Yerington City Hall Pat Peeples Softball Field Organizational Ball Field Use Application Please Read The Following PRIOR to submitting this application: 1: To use a ball field for scheduled practice or games this form must be completed and received by Friday, MARCH 13th 2026 at 5PM. 2: No ball field may be reserved prior to Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 8:00 am. 3: The City will review the submitted applications and create a reservation list that will be posted at each park. 4: This plan is NOT “First Come, First Served.” All requests will be evaluated after the application deadline. 5: The City WILL NOT OPEN BATHROOMS until April 15th. (Or later if we still have hard freeze conditions). Order portable restrooms as an alternative. 6: The City WILL NOT TURN ON WATER TO THE FIELDS until April 15th to avoid freezing damage. Tournaments and special events require a different application. You will be required to order portable restrooms, handwashing stations and dumpsters for your event. These quantities are dictated by the number of attendees. 2: Applicants must control the number of attendees invited to their event! Any event that exceeds attendee maximums may be shut down by the Yerington Police Department. 3: An insurance coverage certificate naming the CITY OF YERINGTON NEVADA will be required for all events in the amount of $1,000,000. 2026 DUE BY: MAR 13th at 5:00 pm at Yerington City Hall Bill McDonald T-Ball Field SIGN ---PAGE BREAK--- 1-5 Teams Sanitation Requirements for Events Baseball field restrooms (Buck Aiazzi, Neil Herrin and Pat Peeples) are not heated and cannot be opened each season until freezing conditions have ended, typically in mid-April. The City has one heated, year-round restroom available at Veterans Park. The City DOES NOT have the sanitary capacity to support events other than daily practice by local teams. The event organizers themselves must take responsibility and provide the following for the duration of any event held at the fields: Failure by any group to meet the sanitation requirements above will result in the event being banned from use of City parks in the future. Applicant shall further indemnify and hold harmless the City of Yerington from all claims and damages (including reasonable attorney's fees and costs) arising from any act, negligence, fault, or omission of Applicant or Applicant's agents, employees, spectators or invitees, and from and against any and all costs, reasonable attorney's fees, expenses and liabilities incurred on or about any such claim or any action or proceeding brought on such claim. In the event any action or proceeding is brought against the City of Yerington by reason of any such claim, Applicant, on notice from the City of Yerington, shall defend it at Applicant's expense by counsel approved in writing by City of Yerington. The individual whose signature appears below represents that he or she has been duly authorized by. the Applicant to execute this Indemnification Agreement on its behalf. Contact City Hall at 463-3511 for more information. Baseball and Softball reservations are accepted in January of each year. A meeting will be held to discuss field use policies prior to applications being accepted. Field lighting is intended for use by groups participating in sporting activites on City fields and are not intended for use by individuals or small groups.
