No parties testified in opposition. The subject properties are 913 and 959 Hardcastle Avenue, a site totaling 1.17 acres in the Single- Family Residential (RS) zoning district. There are two existing single-family detached dwellings, one on each property. The applicant proposed to subdivide the site into five lots; the existing dwellings will occupy two of the new· lots and the applicant proposed to construct three new single-family detached dwellings for the other three lots. The applicant included a single variance request regarding the definition of Front Lot Line and how it is used to measure lot depth, specifically for Lots 4 and 5. The request was to change the front lot line for these two lots to be the lot line abutting and most nearly parallel to the private shared driveway.
