ANNOUNCEMENTS AND APPOINTMENTS Announcements: A. The Parks and Recreation Master Plan Findings Presentation will be held on May 13 at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers prior to the Recreation and Parks Board meeting. B. Budget Hearings will be held on May 19 in the Council Chambers. The Urban Renewal Budget Hearing will begin at 7 pm and the City Budget Hearing will begin at 7:15. C. Primary Election, May 20, 2008: Woodburn City Hall is a designated Marion County ballot drop site during regular business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; however, the City Hall lobby area will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. D. A Wastewater Facility Plan Advisory Committee meeting will be held on May 22 at 6:30 pm in the Police Department Community Room. E. City Hall, the Library, and the Aquatic Center will be closed May 26 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. F. Tout Street Street Improvement Between South Settlemier Avenue and South Front Street LID Final Assessments 65 Recommended Action: Conduct public hearing, receive public comment, and direct staff to prepare an ordinance for Council action establishing the final assessment amounts. B. Boones Ferry Road Street Improvement Between State Highway 214 and Goose Creek LID Final Assessments 69 Recommended Action: Conduct public hearing, receive public comment, and direct staff to prepare an ordinance for Council action establishing the final assessment amounts. 11. GENERAL BUSINESS – Members of the public wishing to comment on items of general business must complete and submit a speaker’s card to the City Recorder prior to commencing this portion of the Council’s agenda. Comment time may be limited by Mayoral prerogative. A. Council Bill No. 2720 – Resolution entering into Grant Agreement No. 24844 with the State of Oregon and authorizing the Interim City Administrator to sign said agreement 73 Recommended Action: Adopt the resolution. B. Council Bill No. 2721 – Resolution entering into an intergovernmental agreement with Marion County for plumbing and electrical program support and authorizing the Interim City Administrator to sign said agreement 88 Recommended Action: Adopt the resolution. C.
