WOODBURN PUBLIC ARTS AND MURALS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES FROM THE OCTOBER 17, 2018 MEETING Attendees: Frank Lonergan-Chair, Merri Berlin, Christine Lopez, Sharon Schaub, Colleen Vancil, Judy Massaia, Kristi St. Amant Absent: Sharon Corning, Brenda Valentino-Bravo Staff: McKenzie Granum, Jamie Johnk • Approval of September 19, 2018 Meeting Minutes: Sharon S. moved to approve; Judy M. seconded. Motion passed. • Public Hearing Date: A Public Hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. The Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers. The results of the public hearing will be on the November 13, 2018 City Council agenda as a call-up item. • Public Hearing Process: McKenzie provided a handout on the hearing process and discussed the roles of the Public Arts and Mural Committee during the process. Jamie shared a flyer promoting the public hearing on October 30th and encouraged Committee members to distribute. • Other Discussion Items: o The Committee briefly discussed the mural selfie wall concepts. This topic will be discussed at the next regular Committee meeting. o Committee requested an update on the water tower project at the next meeting. • Next Regular Meeting: December 5, 2018 • Adjourn: Meeting adjourned
