Public Hearing(s): a. MOC 23-03 to CU 22-02: Townsend Farms (960 Young St): Modification of Conditions (MOC) application to modify Conditional Use 22-02 Townsend Farms industrial freezer building addition/expansion that the Commission had approved January 26, 2023 and for which the Building Division had issued building permit 971-23-000102-STR-02 on June 20. Request to not widen and improve Young Street frontage with more asphalt, new curb, landscape strip with street trees, and wider sidewalk and not screen the east side of the north outdoor storage yard with shrubbery inside the east lot line. Request includes the applicant’s desired strikethrough-and-underline revisions to CU 22-02 Conditions of Approval D1a(3), CU1a(2)-(4), & CU5. (MOC 23-03) b. DR 23-09: Salud Medical Center Renovation (1175 Mt Hood Ave): Design Review (DR) application to construct a 129 square foot front vestibule to the pharmacy area and an expansion of the existing parking lot. The project also includes significant interior work to the existing building. A Street Adjustment application is included to request a modified cross-section for Mt Hood Avenue. A Variance application is also included, with requests to not meet standards related to street improvements, street trees, perimeter screening, and on-site exterior lighting. (DR 23-09, SA 23-07, & VAR 23-07) c. DR 23-08: Grating Pacific Building C (2775 N. Front St): Design Review (DR) application to construct a 22,600 square foot warehouse building in the front of the property near N. Front Street. A Street Adjustment application is included to request a modified cross-section for N. Front Street. A Variance application is also included, with requests to not meet standards related to street improvements, street lighting, pedestrian access, landscaping, and overhead power lines.
