Aquatics  -Opened last Wednesday -No Membership sales just yet, just resuming old memberships that were paused -Lessons to start in August -Summer league swim team starting in August City of Woodburn Recreation and Park Board Agenda Hybrid – In-Person/Online July 14, 2021 6:00pm Virtual Meeting: ---PAGE BREAK--- -Renew Active memberships very popular -6 days, til count off by just $2.25 -40 Capacity reaching that by about noon -Hired 12 lifeguards, cross training swim instructors -Hired 4 group exercise instructors, teaching 14 classes (water fitness, yoga, Zumba, Aqua Zumba) -Mechanical operations smooth -Facebook ad reach was 40,600 for lifeguard classes -Earn while you learn -Lots of training with new staff b. Recreation  Summer Programs A. July 4th - Cancellation due to Clackamas County Firework Ban B. Music in the Park - 150-200 persons attending these weekly events. C. Fiesta - Prep is happening scheduled for August 7th D. Community Connection Day - Scheduled for August 21st legion Park 1500 Backpacks to be given out. c. Parks & Facilities  Museum A. Going out to bid soon. Shared pictures of updated interior  Fountain A. Work Completed  Train A. Work in progress new fence and shelter  Legion Park – Playground A. Work finished.
