After a significant amount of advocacy, the City ultimately secured a $15 million grant from the Oregon Legislature and committed $5 million in City funds that can be utilized after the City unlocks matching funds through the passage of a $40 million bond measure. The matching funds from the state will only be available if the project is fully funded by Spring 2025. In addition to state and local funds, the City, in partnership with Woodburn Proud, has launched a capital campaign to secure funding from private donors and foundations. ---PAGE BREAK--- Funding Sources & Cost The bond would cost approximately $1.00 per $1,000 of assessed property value, or $15 per month for the average homeowner in Woodburn. ---PAGE BREAK--- Timeline ---PAGE BREAK--- ---PAGE BREAK--- Questions?
