The Historical Woodburn Museum Grand Re-opening will take place June 3rd and 4th from 11am – 3 pm. B. City Hall, the Library and the Transit System will be Closed Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. The Aquatic Center will be open from 9:00am – 5pm and will be having a BBQ at the pool from 11:30am – 3pm which is included with admission. Appointments: None. 4. COMMUNITY/GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS None. 5. PROCLAMATIONS/PRESENTATIONS Proclamations: None. Presentations: A. 2017 Spring Pavement Maintenance Project 6. COMMUNICATIONS None. 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS None. 11. GENERAL BUSINESS – Members of the public wishing to comment on items of general business must complete and submit a speaker’s card to the City Recorder prior to commencing this portion of the Council’s agenda. Comment time may be limited by Mayoral prerogative. A. Council Bill No. 3033 – A Resolution Declaring the City of Woodburn a Welcoming and Inclusive City that Respects and Appreciates all Residents 13 Recommended Action: During the Global Advisory Inclusion Committee’s May 10, 2017 meeting, after committee discussion and deliberation, the attached Resolution Declaring the City of Woodburn a Welcoming and Inclusive City that Respects and Appreciates All Residents was unanimously approved for consideration and adoption by the City Council. B. Award of Construction Contract for the 2017 Spring Pavement Maintenance Project, BID #2017-03 22 Recommended Action: That the City Council, acting in its capacity as the Local Contract Review Board, award the construction contract for the 2017 Spring Pavement Maintenance Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Knife River Corporation - Northwest in the amount of $373,373.00. ---PAGE BREAK--- May 22, 2017 Council Agenda Page iii 12.
