SPOKANE AVENUE PROJECT UPDATE - OCTOBER 2022 Since September 6th, Sandry Construction has replaced nearly 2,000 feet of old 6” cast iron water main and the new 18” PVC watermain is in place all the way to E. 6th Street. Three fire hydrants have been replaced along with many new water valves and service lines. With the favorable fall weather, Phase 1 work is anticipated to go well into November. Work will continue to East 5th Street this fall with a possibility of moving further north if the favorable weather persists. Spokane Avenue will be paved by the end of Phase 1 and re-opened to standard two-way traffic for the winter. The future construction schedule is planned as follows: » Phase 2: Resume construction in Spring of 2023 and complete construction by June of 2023. » MDT Repaving Project: Schedule to be determined.
