Stay Informed: Please check the City’s website for additional in- formation at: www.cityofwhitefish.org/5 23/Edgewood and Texas Reconstruction Prepared by: Robert Peccia & Associates, Kalispell, Montana — Copyright 2022 ISSUE TEN — December 2022 Construction Update: Texas Avenue Reconstruction Project Due to the onset of winter weather, most remaining con- struction activities on the Texas Avenue Reconstruction Project will be postponed until spring. The Contractor, LHC, has continued to work to complete roadway improvements to a state that will allow for unimpeded public use through the winter. LHC is currently making efforts to resume mail service to the newly installed mailboxes. Expect this mail delivery switch to take place in the next week or two. When construction activities are able to resume in the spring, LHC will return to finish all outstanding construction items. These items include, but are not limited to: pouring sidewalk intersection ramps, finishing driveway approach- es, topsoil placement, grading and seeding, private proper- ty repairs (i.e. irrigation systems, yard repairs, etc.), and general cleanup. Boulevard trees are expected to be installed in the spring once LHC has completed their work. Once a spring schedule has been determined, a future newsletter will be issued informing residents of the final schedule and anticipated traffic control changes required to finish the roadway construction.
