The City has selected the engineering firm of Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) to assist them with project management, public involvement, survey- ing and civil engineering. The project will generally include roadway recon- strucƟon, a bicycle/pedestrian path, decoraƟve street lighƟng and drainage improvements. Project Overview: The Edgewood & Texas ReconstrucƟon Project will consist of reconstrucƟng Texas Avenue from Edgewood Place to the northern city limits and Edge- wood Place from Colorado Avenue to the eastern city limits. The total length of the project is approximately 5,650 linear feet. ConstrucƟon schedules are yet to be determined, but summer 2021 construcƟon is possible for a porƟon of the corridor. Public Outreach & Involvement Throughout the development of the project, there will be several public out- reach campaigns and opportuniƟes for public involvement. Current Work Survey crews have already begun collecƟng the site data needed by the engi- neers to design the roadway corridor. Please keep a careful eye out for them when you are traveling along these roadways.
