Construction is planned to begin in early May 2022 and finish up in October 2022. Edgewood Place, east of Texas Avenue to the City Limits will now be constructed with Texas Avenue. The Design Team will submit all new streetlighting public comments to the City Council for their consideration and final design direction during their February 22, 2022 meeting. Streetlight spacing is 180 feet. Minimum bollard spacing is recommended at 60‐feet; Less maintenance; Less prone to vandalism; Less expensive; Taller poles cannot be covered by snowbanks; Provides a safer, better luminated, roadway and pedestrian corridor.
