Updated 3/18/2021 PUBLIC NOTICE VACANCIES ON CITY BOARDS/COMMITTEES BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS – One position, complete term ending 5/1/2022. Applicant must have resided within the city limits for 2 years and within the State for 3 years and must be at least 21 years old. The Committee meets on the second Tuesday in the evening. BOARD OF APPEALS – One position, term not designated. The Board of Appeals determines suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction and to provide for reasonable interpretations of the International Building Code. Applicant must be qualified by experience or training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction. The Committee meets as needed. PARKING PILOT PROGRAM COMMITTEE – One position. Applicant shall be an owner or manager of a retail establishment, bar, restaurant, professional office, or hotel/lodging establishment located in the Pilot Parking Permit Area, or a member residing in the Pilot Parking Permit Area. IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE – One position to complete term ending 12/31/2021. Applicant shall be a representative of the development community and shall reside or work within the City limits. Vacancies this year are for three Members at Large. 3 Positions, 2-year terms. TREE ADVISORY COMMITTEE – open to residents within the Whitefish High School District who have maintained their residency for a minimum of one year prior to appointment. Vacancies this year are for two Members at Large. 2 Positions, 2-year terms. Please submit a letter of interest to serve on any of the above committees to the Whitefish Parks and Recreation Department at 418 E Second St. or mail to P.O.
