FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Mary Drew Powers [EMAIL REDACTED] [PHONE REDACTED] PUMPKIN CARVING AT LIBRARY Whitefish, MT – October 15, 2020 – Whitefish Community Library will host a pumpkin carving party on Saturday, October 24 to create jack-o’-lanterns to decorate Whitefish City Hall in the week preceding Halloween. “We’re saying, ‘Create a jack-o’-lantern to turn City Hall into City Hall-oween,’” said librarian Mary Drew Powers. “We’ll have the pumpkins, the tools, and treats. We do need people to call and make a reservation, so we have enough pumpkins.” The event will be held outside under the library’s portico to accommodate social distancing. Family groups, teams and individuals are welcome to reserve a pumpkin and the space to carve it at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. For more details and to register, call the Library at 862-9914.
