Updated: 12/06/2023 PUBLIC NOTICE VACANCIES ON CITY BOARDS/COMMITTEES WHITEFISH LAKE AND LAKESHORE PROTECTION COMMITTEE- One positions, complete the term ending 12/31/2024. Applicant must be a lakefront property owner and reside within the corporate limits of the city of Whitefish. Committee meets once a month. FLATHEAD CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD – One position, to serve as an urban supervisor, to complete the term ending 12/31/2025. Pursuant §76-15-311 M.C.A applicants may reside within the city limits of Whitefish; For more details on this board please see their website IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE –Two position, 2-year term. Applicant shall be a member-at-large and shall reside or work within the City limits; or applicant shall be a representative of the development community and shall reside or work within City limits. This Committee meets once a year, or as needed. BOARD OF APPEALS – One position, term not designated. The Board of Appeals determines suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction and to provide for reasonable interpretations of the International Building Code. Applicant must be qualified by experience or training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction. The Committee meets as needed.
