Publish 8/3/2022 PUBLIC NOTICE VACANCIES ON CITY BOARDS/COMMITTEES WHITEFISH LAKE AND LAKESHORE PROTECTION COMMITTEE- One position, term ending December 31, 2022. Applicant must be a lakefront property owner and resides within the corporate limits of the city of Whitefish. Committee meets once a month. ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE – One position, 3-year term. Applicants shall reside within the corporate limits of the city of Whitefish, are employed or own a business in the city of Whitefish, or own property in the city of Whitefish; or be Montana licensed architect, or licensed design professional either architect, engineer, or landscape architect). The committee meets twice a month April – October, once a month November – March in the mornings. FLATHEAD CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD – One position, to complete term ending 12/31/2022 to serve as an urban supervisor. Applicants shall reside within the city limits of Whitefish. For more details on this board please see their website BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS – One position, term ending 5/1/2023. Applicants must have resided within the City Limits for 2 years and within the State for 3 years and must be at least 21 years old. The Committee meets once a month in the evenings. BOARD OF APPEALS – One position, term not designated. The Board of Appeals determines suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction and to provide for reasonable interpretations of the International Building Code. Applicant must be qualified by experience or training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction. The Committee meets as needed. IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE – One position to complete term ending 12/31/2021. Applicant shall be a member-at-large and shall reside or work within the City limits.
