Updated 12/13/2017 APPLICATION FOR HIGHWY 93 BANNER Name of Sponsoring Business or Organization Contact Person: Phone Email: APPLICATION FEE: $10 Is the organization/event for non-profit? What is the date of the event? Does the event take place in Whitefish? What are the Dates you would like to hang the banner? What is the approximate wording of the banner? Banner Requirements 1. The maximum time that a banner may be installed is 14 days. An individual or organization may, after the expiration of a permitted 14-day period, reapply for an additional 14-day period, if no other individual or organization has applied to install a banner for the following time period. (Res. No 00-54) 2. Per MDT regulations, all banners must be for events sponsored or promoted by the City of Whitefish for benefit to the City and/or Community of Whitefish. NO BUSINESS names are allowed on any portion of the banners even as a sponsor 3. The perfect size of banner is: 2 feet by 24 feet with rope leads of 24 feet on each end, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. Banner needs grommets and wind slits. 4. All applications must be turned into the City of Whitefish City Clerk’s office at 418 E. 2nd St or PO Box 158, Whitefish, MT 59937, (406)-863-2400 5. Coordination with other organizations for installing and taking down banner is the applicant’s responsibility. (Please see attached list of companies.) 6. A payment of $10 is required before application is approved. ---PAGE BREAK--- Updated 12/9/2019 COMPANIES TO HANG BANNERS FOR HWY 93 Following is a list of businesses that are willing to place banners across Highway 93. It is the responsibility of the applicant to contact these businesses for placement. We have been notified that the perfect size of a banner is as follows: 2 feet by 24 feet with rope leads of 24 feet on each end-2 on top and 2 on bottom. Banner needs grommets and wind slits. If you want it to be viewed from traffic coming and going through town, you will need verbiage on both sides. ROCKY MOUNTAIN PAINTING.
