Box 158 ∙ Whitefish, MT 59937 ∙ (406) 863-2400 ∙ Fax: (406) 863-2419 April 22, 2020 The City of Whitefish wants to be sure citizens are aware of the "Phased Approach Reopening of the Big Sky" announced by Montana Governor Bullock this afternoon. We are carefully reviewing the statewide guidelines and will be posting a Community PSA update tomorrow. In conjunction with Flathead County Health Department we will also provide local business guidelines for the phased reopening beginning next week. Please be reminded we are currently under the Stay at Home directive, Whitefish lodging is temporarily closed, and non-essential travel to Montana (or residents returning home) requires a 14-day self-quarantine. All updates are posted on the Covid-19 Updates and Ongoing Notifications. We appreciate everyone's support and best practices during this challenging time, and look forward to reaching out tomorrow with the next important community update.
