AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY By signing this waiver, I acknowledge the work I am performing or contracting to have performed on my private property is posing risk of damage to the holding root system of a public tree. This can greatly diminish a tree’s stability in inclement weather and could result in tree failure, posing a threat to life and property. I acknowledge I have been provided information regarding Tree Protection Zones and excavation techniques that can be used to minimize damage to major holding roots. I agree to hold the City of Whitefish harmless from any damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, as the result of damage to the root system of the public tree.
