Addendum 1 27 November 2023 BID SUBMITTAL All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to: Derick Durden, County Administrator, Washington County Board of Commissioners, 119 Jones St., Sandersville, GA 31082. All bids must be received by December 6th, 2023, 2:00PM. Any bids received after that time will be considered null and void. Bids will be lump sum and include all cost of the equipment to include delivery to the point of destination. The bids will be evaluated and awarded based on several factors to include cost, availability, suitability, and quality. BID REQUIREMENTS 1. The bid must be submitted prior to bid deadline of December 6th, 2023, 2:00PM at which time a bid opening will take place at the Washington County Board of Commissioners Office, 119 Jones St., Sandersville, GA 31082. 2. Bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid #2024-002 Washington County Government Building Reroof”. All shipping materials must be clearly marked. 3. The bid shall include the total cost of project and the estimated start date. 5. The bid shall include a description of warranty provided. 6. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished and accompanied by: a. What type of warranty is required? A full 20-year materials and labor warranty is required. 2. Is a full tear off required? Yes. All roofing material will be removed to the decking. 3. Where can dumpsters be staged? Behind the buildings. The courtyard can be used; however, the contractor is responsible for any damages to plantings. 4. What sort of terminations are required on the TPO roofing? Bars can be used on the sides of the building. Fronts of building need to be finished with metal caps in the spirit of what currently exists. 5. Can the terra-cotta caps be removed from the side walls? Yes. 6.
