A: Lump sum; please provide with your proposal your desired pay schedule which should be tied to milestones in the project. Q: Are there an existing topo, geotechnical report and report of wetlands delineation? A: No. We may be able to provide survey data but plan on providing your own topography. You will need to produce your own geotechnical and wetlands delineation. Q: Who are the local surveying companies? A. Barker & Associates (Sandersville) Mark Boyd – Boyd Surveying (Tennille) Dusty Tyson – (Milledgeville) Q. Which permits are needed to do the project? Erosion & Sediment Control Plan approval from state and it may need to be stamped by the City of Sandersville (Dave Larsen) The City of Sandersville will waive all other permits and code enforcement for this County project. Q: Does the project require a concept design for the athletic complex to be submitted with our submission? A. No, because we have provided the concept drawing in the RFP. Q The proposal requirements asks for budget estimates. Is this asking for a construction budget or design fee budget? A. We are looking for a design fee budget; the construction budget will be a deliverable of the design. ---PAGE BREAK--- Q. Are the evaluation criteria equally weighted? A: The weighting will be: 70% costs, 15% referrals and 15 % capacity to deliver. We will a penalty amount per day late in the contract with the Designer. Q: What is the situation with utilities for this project? The City of Sandersville shall provide water, sewer and electricity. There will need to be a booster pump for irrigation for all fields. You will need to have an option for an irrigation pond. Q. Will stormwater management facilities be required for detention/retention or stormwater quality? A. Yes Q. Is there an estimate of the maximum daily occupancy at the recreation facility? A. Approximately 4,000 Q. Will irrigation be needed for artificial turf fields? A. We will need water but not a sprinkler system. Q. Optional track – has a material for the track been selected – like a surface latex surface or polyurethane surface? What is needed for the track option estimated cost? A. Surfacing like what is being done on most 8 lane high school tracks. Q. For field houses, bathrooms, concessions, score keeping buildings, can we assume split face CMU and wood construction with architectural shingle roofs? A. Most of them we see around have metal roofs but we do not have a preference either way. Q. Can we assume no fire suppression sprinklers will be needed? A. To be determined but we will be cooking inside. ---PAGE BREAK--- Q. Can we assume that concessions will have minimal kitchen capability (warming kitchen versus full kitchen)? A. We will need it to be able to cook in each concession stand. We use flat tops and fryers mostly for our cooking
