Addendum 2 – Questions Received by 12/4/23 Questions: 1. Is the new roof system to be a fully adhered 060mil white TPO membrane roof system with a 20 year NDL warranty? Yes to both. 2. Is the wall flashing membrane to go up and over the parapet walls and terminate with a new sheet metal coping cap? See Amendment 1. TPO over interior parapets should be installed in a manner that you can provide a 20 year NDL warranty. The side walls that are not in plain site can be terminated with a bar. The fronts of the building will require a cap. 3. What insulation R value is required for the new roof? R25 minimum per building codes 4. Are we to include new thru wall scuppers, receiver heads and downspouts? As required for warranty. If you can’t warranty the roof without new scuppers then include in your price. Don’t expect a change order for a scupper. If you need to reinspect the roof then please schedule a time. 5. Are we to include new gutter and downspout? No. 6. Do we need to include new insulation crickets and sumps since we are tearing the old ones off? Yes. 7. Please clarify if the shingle mansards on the front and rear are part of this reroofing scope? No. 8. Please specify what the existing deck is (i.e. metal, plywood, etc.). Rough cut 1x4”-6” slats 9. Please specify if the slope is in the deck. Yes, the roof deck is sloped.
