If voting for a Write-In candidate, completely fill in the empty oval to the left of the Write-In selection, then write the name of the write-in candidate in the space provided Warning Do NOT use red ink or felt tip pen to mark ballot Do NOT circle, underline or mark through choices Do NOT use check marks or X to mark ballot Do NOT mark more choices per race than allowed Do NOT sign, cut, tear or damage the ballot For City Council District 8 (Vote for One) David F Dickinson (Incumbent) Bill Owens Write‐In TURN OVER TO CONTINUE VOTING ---PAGE BREAK--- SPECIAL ELECTION WALTON COUNTY Shall a total of $75,000,000 in maximum aggregate principal amount of Walton County School District General ObligaƟon Bonds (the “Walton County School District Bonds”) be issued for the purpose of providing funds for capital outlay projects (the “Walton County School District Projects”) in the Walnut Grove, Monroe, and Loganville clusters consisƟng of adding to, reno‐ vaƟng, repairing, improving, furnishing, and equipping exisƟng school buildings and other build‐ ings and faciliƟes; the potenƟal acquisiƟon of land for future school sites; the potenƟal construc‐ Ɵon of new school buildings and related faciliƟes; capital expenditures associated with the Rut‐ land center; the acquisiƟon of school buses and/or other vehicles; making informaƟon technology improvements, including, but not limited to, one‐to‐one upgrades, pro‐ jecƟon, computer upgrades, instrucƟonal soŌware and associated capital costs, and infrastruc‐ ture at all schools and selected other faciliƟes; and replacing, purchasing, upgrading or supple‐ menƟng capital outlay equipment including, but not limited to, desks, chairs, copiers, tables, school buses, security and safety equipment, signage, band instruments, playgrounds, and la‐ boratory equipment; and paying expenses incident thereto, paying capitalized interest on the Walton County School District Bonds, and paying the costs of issuing the Walton County School District Bonds and shall a total of $18,000,000 in maximum aggregate principal amount of City of Social Circle School District General ObligaƟon Bonds (the “Social Circle School District Bonds”) be issued for the purpose of providing funds for capital outlay projects (the “Social Circle Projects”) consisƟng of adding to, renovaƟng, repairing, improving, furnishing, and equip‐ ping exisƟng school buildings and other buildings and faciliƟes; the potenƟal acquisiƟon of land for future school sites; the potenƟal construcƟon of new school buildings and related faciliƟes; the acquisiƟon of school buses and/or other vehicles; making informaƟon technology improve‐ ments, including, but not limited to, one‐to‐one upgrades, projecƟon, computer upgrades, in‐ strucƟonal soŌware and materials associated capital costs, and infrastructure at all schools and selected other faciliƟes; and replacing, purchasing, upgrading or supplemenƟng capital outlay equipment including, but not limited to, desks, chairs, copiers, tables, school buses, security and safety equipment, signage, band instruments, playgrounds, and laboratory equipment; and pay‐ ing expenses incident thereto, paying capitalized interest on the Social Circle School District Bonds, and paying the costs of issuing the Social Circle School District Bonds and shall a one percent sales and use tax for educaƟonal purposes be reimposed in Walton County for a period of Ɵme not to exceed twenty calendar quarters, commencing on January 1, 2023 or upon the earli‐ er expiraƟon of the sales and use tax now in effect, and for the raising of not more than $140,000,000, approximately $123,808,390 (88.43%) of which shall be received by the Wal‐ ton County School District for the following purposes: reƟring outstanding general obligaƟon debt of the Walton County School District previously incurred and issued with respect to capital outlay projects in the maximum principal and interest amount of $15,000,000, comprised of porƟons of the Walton County School Districts General ObligaƟon Refunding Bonds, Series 2012, coming due in the years 2023 through 2025; paying a porƟon of the debt service on the Wal‐ ton County School District Bonds, and paying a porƟon of the costs of the Walton County School District Projects not financed with the proceeds of the Walton County School District Bonds; and Approximately $16,191,610 (11.57%) of which shall be received by the Social Circle School District to be used for the following purposes: paying a porƟon of the debt ser‐ vice on the Social Circle School District Bonds and paying a porƟon of the costs of the Social Circle School District Projects not financed with the proceeds of the Social Circle School District Bonds?
