REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and Modifications to Existing Structure The Walton County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed proposals for two pre- engineered metal buildings and modifications to an existing metal building to be used for a new parts building for Walton Co. Public Works, located at 1407 S. Madison Avenue, Monroe, Ga. Proposals will be accepted at the Historic Walton Co. Courthouse, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655 until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 30th, 2021. A mandatory Pre- Proposal conference will be held at the site at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 16th. Anyone wishing to submit a proposal must attend this meeting. Proposals should be marked Proposal #2022-01, Engineered Metal Buildings and Modifications. Proposals submitted after the time due will not be accepted. Proposal documents are available at the Walton County Board of Commissioners Office located in the Historic Walton County Courthouse, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Ga. 30655 or by email to Rhonda Hawk, Purchasing Manager at [EMAIL REDACTED]. Should the total cost of the proposal be $100,000 or more, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. All proposals of $100,000 or more must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Funds in the amount of 5% of the proposals price. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance will be required with Walton County named as additional insured. Proposers must submit with the proposal a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. Walton County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to make award based on the highest and best interest of Walton County.
