REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Walton County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed proposals for a pre-engineered 60’ x 80’ insulated metal building to be used as a maintenance shop for the Walton County Fire. Proposal documents may be obtained at the County Commissioners Office from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday or by email to [EMAIL REDACTED] . Proposals should be marked with Proposal # 2019-03, Pre-Engineered Metal Building for Walton Co. Fire. Proposals will be accepted at the Historic Walton Co. Courthouse, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655 until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Proposals submitted after this time will not be accepted. Both a performance and a payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required, with the County named as additional insured. Bidders must submit with the proposal a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E- Verify.
