Walton County Water – Development Info 1: Complete and submit a Preliminary Application for Water along with $400 Administrative Fee per phase. Application will require testing for Fire Flow. If Walton County is requested to do the testing an additional fee of $250 will need to be paid. 2: If Preliminary Application is approved then plans can be submitted for review. A minimum of three sets of plans is required to be submitted. The plan review fee is $320.00 if the development is for 25 lots or less. If more than 25 lots then the fee is based upon the number of lots X$12.00. Re-review fee will be charged for a 3rd and subsequent reviews at a rate of $100 for each additional review. 3: Once plans are approved and development begins inspections should be requested 48 hours before needed to allow for scheduling. The first 6 inspections are included in the Administrative Fee. Additional inspections, if required, after the first 6 will be charged a rate of $100 per inspection. 4. As-built plans are to be submitted to include a hard copy and electronic copy prior to the final sign off and selling of meters. The electronic submission must include GIS info for the fire hydrants, valves and meter boxes.
