REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Walton County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed proposals for a pre-engineered 60’ x 80’ insulated metal building to be used as an indoor hitting facility for the Walton County Parks and Recreation Department. Proposal documents may be obtained at the County Commissioners Office from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Proposals should be marked with Proposal # 2019-01, Pre-Engineered Metal Building. Proposals will be accepted at the Historic Walton Co. Courthouse, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655 until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Proposals submitted after this time will not be accepted. Both a performance and a payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required, with the County named as additional insured. Bidders must submit with the proposal a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E- Verify. Walton County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to make any award based on the highest and best interest of Walton County.
