ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2019 Milling and Asphalt Replacement Sealed bids will be accepted by the Walton County Board of Commissioners, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for milling and asphalt replacement (deep patching) of various County roads. Bids will be received at the Walton County Board of Commissioners' office until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered. Bidding documents are available at the Walton County Board of Commissioners Office 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday or by email to [EMAIL REDACTED]. Bids will be accepted at the Walton County Board of Commissioners Office located in the Historic Walton Co. Courthouse located at 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655. A bid bond* or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to the Walton County Board of Commissioners. The successful bidder will be required to furnish proof of Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. Walton County reserves the rights to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of Walton County.
