INVITATION TO BID Walton County Board of Commissioners Highway 78 Booster Pump Station Improvements February 24, 2021 Formal bids will be received by the Walton County Board of Commissioners for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for improvements to Walton County's Highway 78 Booster Pump Station. Bids will be received by the Walton County Purchasing Department, 111 S. Broad St., Monroe, Georgia no later than 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered. To obtain digital copies of the plans and specifications, please email your request to Natalie Pifer at [EMAIL REDACTED] with the reference “Highway 78 Booster Pump Station Improvements”. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with Walton County named as additional insured. Contractors must also provide a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. This form must be notarized. The Walton County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Walton County Board of Commissioners.
