E06-163H I 10-2020 (Advertisement for Bids) 00030-1 INVITATION TO BID 2020 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – Bid #2021-04 NORTH CROSS LANE ROAD, JAMES POWERS ROAD, & BROACH SPUR Sealed bids will be received by the Walton County Board of Commissioners, Attention: Rhonda Hawk, Purchasing Manager, 111 South Broad Street, Monroe, GA 30655 (Historic Courthouse) no later than 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2020 by mail or hand delivery for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of the 2020 Water System Improvements, Bid #2021-04 - North Cross Lane Road, James Powers Road & Broach Spur. Electronic copies of Contract Documents, Specifications, and Construction Drawings may be obtained from Precision Planning, Inc. upon request sent to Natalie Pifer, [EMAIL REDACTED]. Contract Documents, Specifications and Drawings may be examined at the Walton County Historic Courthouse. A bid bond or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent of the total amount bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check to be made payable to the Walton County Board of Commissioners. The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total amount bid. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the Walton County Board of Commissioners named as additional insured. All bidders must submit an E-Verify Contractor Affidavit, verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program. Walton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of Walton County.
