Athletes and coaches should space themselves as much as possible throughout games and maintain 6’ distancing. Spectators must maintain 6’ safe distancing for non-family units. Bleachers will not be available. Spectators should stay in designated area and follow foot traffic flow through park. All playgrounds will be closed. Athletes and coaches should refrain from physical contact including high fives, fist bumps, handshakes, post-game team handshakes, etc. The field is not available until the preceding team exits. Athletes should refrain from spitting at the park. Coaches are encouraged to sanitize their equipment prior to team functions. Athletes should not share equipment such as helmets, bats, gloves, etc. Batting cages will be closed to teams playing games. Dugouts will be closed and players should use the designated areas to store equipment. Teams must leave the field immediately after games. Teams shall not have meetings on the fields before or after games. Team snacks are discouraged. Athletes and coaches are responsible for bringing their own individual drinks. Drinks should be clearly marked with the player’s name and number. All park guests will adhere to CDC guidelines on practicing proper hygiene. o Wash hands often with soap and warm water for 20 seconds. o Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when available. o Try to avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
