McDuffie County Animal Burial Guidelines Where as; property owner has certain dead animals which need to be properly buried or disposed of and property owner does not have the right means for burial, McDuffie County will assist with this once a agreement has been signed. It is not a Federal, State, or Local Law that McDuffie County has to dispose of deceased animals. We just try to help do the humane thing for county property owners. The county believes it is in the best interest and welfare of the citizens to help with proper disposal when necessary. If such situation arises, please contact the road department to sign the “Agreement for Disposal of dead animals”. McDuffie County is not liable for any damages that may occur while on personal property during burial. Property owner should understand this is a voluntary service and may not be available at all times, depending on work schedules. Prices are as follows: Large Animal--$125.00 during business hours Small Animal--$75.00 during business hours Business hours are considered 7am-3pm. All request must be taken by 3, for action to be taken on the same day, otherwise another day will be scheduled.
