Our work efforts are focused on contributing effectiveness, stewardship, innovation, creativity and solution oriented positive teamwork toward the shaping of Summit County as a quality of life community of choice. Our Mission: Provide professional and technical expertise to citizens, county management, elected officials, planning commissions, boards and committees and public agencies in applying land management and building principles in understanding and addressing community issues and priorities. Our efforts are centered on a commitment to design quality, building safety and environmental sustainability. We maintain an organization where the pursuit of professional excellence produces quality customer service, partnerships in our approach and integrity in our actions. Our Guiding Principles: We concentrate on being accessible, responsive and accountable with the changing needs, demands and expectations of those we serve.
