CHECKLIST AND REVIEW PROCEDURE FOR BUILDING PERMITS 1 I P a g e CHECKLIST AND REVIEW PROCEDURE FOR BUILDING PERMITS Checklists 1. Checklists can be found on the home page of the Permit Portal here If you do not see a checklist for your project please reach out to our department. Review Procedure 1. Application: Summit.co.ut.eprocess360.com *Must register for an account to apply * 2. Use the applicable checklist (on the portal homepage) for all documents required to be submitted with your application 3. Once the application is submitted it will go to a permit tech for acceptance of the application. If the application is rejected the applicant will need to make the requested changes and resubmit. 4. After the application has been accepted it will then go under review with the applicable departments; to be determined by the type of permit. 5. The applicant will receive an approval or comments from each department throughout the review process. It is recommended that applicants wait until they have received comments from all applicable departments before submitting the corrections. 6. When all of the departments have approved the project the fees for the application will be assessed and the applicant will then have access to pay those fees online with a CC or in the office with a check. 7. After the fees have been paid the Permit, Final Stamped Set of plans, and all the approved documents from each department will be available for download. 8. Inspections may now be scheduled 9. After all of the inspections have been approved and if applicable a Certificate of Occupancy will be issued. *the applicant may be required to provide additional final approval letters from Fire, Water, and Sewer Departments prior to the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. 10. Project Complete
