SUMMIT COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS - ENGINEERING DIVISION SUMMIT COUNTY ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY SUMMARY OF EXCAVATION PERMIT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Complete Application by Person, Company, or Public Utility responsible for the Work Detail Drawing of Work (site plan, erosion control plan) Traffic Control Plan Completion Bond Certificate of Insurance Permit Fee ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Signed Copy of Permit Application, Attachments and Permits must be Available on Site - Prior to Beginning Work, Provide 24 Hour Notice to the Engineering Inspectors and Provide Notice Prior to Backfilling - Flowable Fill Required for Backfill in Approved Road Cuts unless Alternate Method Approved in Writing by County Engineer - No Direct Contact of Pavement Surface by Steel Track Equipment or Stabilizers is Allowed - All Restoration and Paving must be completed within 5 Days of Beginning Work For Detailed Submittal, Excavating and Backfill Requirements, See Ordinance #181-D.
