This project offers an opportunity to be part of something unique in the Treasure Valley, a garden that reflects our collective dedication to those who defend our nation and the families who stand beside them. The Veterans Garden is the heart of Freedom Park, both in location and in spirit. Just as the liberties we enjoy are safeguarded by the service of our nation’s veterans, this garden stands at the center of Star’s most cherished public space as a living reminder of their sacrifice. Freedom Park features the Star Riverhouse community center, swimming ponds, a disc golf course, and direct access to the Boise River and Riverwalk trail. Each year, thousands of visitors come to enjoy the park, making it one of the most visible landmarks in the community. By October 2026, the addition of a new event venue, Liberty Hall, will complete this thriving complex. Amid the activity of the park, the Veterans Garden offers a peaceful contrast, a quiet space for reflection and remembrance. It is the centerpiece and the soul of Freedom Park, where natural beauty and civic pride come together to honor those who have served.
