NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CITY OF STAR REQUEST FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES RFQ NO. STAR25-01 STATUTORY PROCEDURE: I.C. § 67-2320 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Star, City Council intends to select and contract for the construction management of a new Star Events Center, Freedom Hall, approximately 10,000 square feet, located at 946 S Main Street in Star, Idaho, Ada County Parcel R1842701320, approximately 1.0 acres. Interested parties may obtain the RFQ STAR 25-01 packet, which includes qualification requirements, evaluation criteria and submission procedures to be used in evaluating submitted qualifications for the construction management of building the Events Center. RFQ STAR 25-01 Packets are available for pickup at the City of Star, City Clerk’s Office, located at 10769 W State St. (2nd Floor), Star, Idaho, 83669, and may be picked up between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. MST., Monday through Friday or may be downloaded at www.staridaho.org/rfps. Additional material to clarify and support qualifications may be submitted. All RFQ STAR 25-01 materials submitted shall be contained in a sealed envelope(s). Mark the envelope: “Qualification of [Insert name of Bidder} Submitted in response to City of Star, Freedom Hall, Request for Qualification STAR 25-01”. Responses must be delivered either by mail or hand delivered no later than 12:00 p.m. MST, October 1, 2025. Qualifications will be evaluated by the City based on the criteria outlined in the RFQ packet. A recommendation will then be presented to the Star City Council for final selection. Qualifications received after the deadline will be returned unopened and will not be considered. Qualifications will be evaluated later by the City in accordance with the qualification criteria for recommendation to the Star City Council. Reservation of right to not proceed to contract: The City of Star reserves in its discretion to not proceed to enter into a contract for construction management services herein requested.
