Salem Park, Recreation & Community Services September 2021 Adult Pickleball Lessons We are pleased to be offering several sessions of Adult Pickleball this fall. Classes offered at all levels and two different locations. All classes begin the week of September 13th. They are 5 week sessions and the cost is $90.00. Sue Carnevale will be teaching the following classes at the Collins Cove Courts: Beginners—Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30am Advanced Beginner’s—Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30am Low Intermediate—Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00pm Maria Bishop will be teaching the following classes at the Salem High School Courts: Beginners—Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00pm Advanced Beginner’s—Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00pm Register at salemrec.com We are thrilled to have volunteer Chris Bednar organizing a basketball clinic at Collins Cove this fall. Players will enhance their skills through drills and 5 on 5 games. Ages: 10-14 Date: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays September 14th—October 8th Time: 4:30-5:30pm Cost: FREE register at salemrec.com Coffee Time and Conversation with the Mayor The Mayor will be visiting the CLC on Wednesday, September 15th at 10:00am for coffee and pastries. Come join us! Fall Drama with Jape Students will work with a Halloween theme and put together a show as a last day performance. This class will be held at the Community Life Center. Ages: 6-12 Date: Tuesdays, 9/21/21– 10/26/21 3:30-5:00pm $85.00 for the 6 week session Register at salemrec.com Due to popular demand, we have added a second Zumba class at the Salem Council on Aging. Fun Game Night Join Beth Kapnis Livermore in a series of nights where different games will be played each week. Do you like kickball...Wiffleball… Dodgeball….Group Games...you will play them all! The Salem Council on Aging is pleased to have Steve Fulling back in September to teach Strong Bones. Strong Bones is scheduled to return on Wednesdays at 11:00am beginning September 15th.
