Bates Elementary School Safe Routes to School Project Two Week Look Ahead: September 28th – October 9th General Project Information: • Project work hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm for day work Projected Construction Activities: Week of September 28th • Contractor J.W. Flett will continue to mobilize to the job site. • Continue saw-cutting for drainage and granite curb. • Relocate 6” double yellow center line along a section of Liberty Hill Ave between Nursery St. to Appleton St. • Install temporary pedestrian sidewalks and crosswalks. • Install drainage at Nursey St. and Liberty Hill Ave. • Police details will be onsite to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the work zones. Week of October 5th • Install drainage at Appleton St. and Liberty Hill Ave. • Start installation of granite curb and concrete sidewalks at Nursey Street and Liberty Hill Ave • Start granite curb and concrete sidewalks in-front of Bates School. • Police details will be onsite to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the work zones.
