Join local artist, Linda Abbene for a family valentine making workshop. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Staff from the Gables will be on hand for cookie decorating as well. On Saturday, February 3rd, people of all ages are welcome to participate in sports and recreational activities. All events are free and will be held at the O’Keefe Center at Salem State University. Events begin at 10:00am. This year’s Annual Cribbage Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 31st at Brodie’s Seaport Restaurant. The tournament begins at 2:00pm. Cost is $5.00 per person and registra- tion is available at www.salemrec.com Our Knitting Group had the opportunity to visit the Bowditch School to present all the mittens and hats which were donated to our Mitten Tree. Students sang for us and presented the seniors with ornaments for our tree at the Salem Council on Aging Bowling and Pizza Join Park, Recreation and Community Services staff for an afternoon to show off your bowling skills. After bowling, we will return to the Community Center for pizza!
