This event will give families the opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa and some pre-bagged treats will be available for the kids. Please register at salemma.myrec.com. Annual Holiday Party at the COA Thursday, December 14th 10:00am Seniors are invited to join us for this annual event sponsored by the Friends of the Salem Council on Aging. Remembrance Day The Salem Council on Aging will be hosting our annual Remembrance Day on Wednesday, December 20th at 10:30am. Winter Gnome Making Workshop Children ages 6-10 are invited to this exciting new workshop lead by instructor Christina Bash. She will lead children in step by step instructions to create a gnome out of a sock, rice, yarn and beads. This program is designed to teach about wildlife in a fun, safe and hands-on way. Thursday, December 28th 3:30-4:30pm $5.00 per person. Register at salemma.myrec.com Teen Landscape Painting Teens ages 10-16 are invited to follow along with a step by step tutorial to create a desert scene in acrylic on a canvas that is sure to warm your heart in the cold of the winter.
