City of Salem Second Passage In the year Two Thousand and Twenty-Two An Ordinance to expand the safety enhancement zone. Section 1. Section 1-11(b) Definitions of Chapter 1, Sec. 1-11 Safety Enhancement Zone; Violations and Penalties is hereby amended by deleting paragraph in its entirety and replacing it with the following: “Safety enhancement zone is defined as the B-5 Central Business District of the City of Salem’s Zoning Ordinance and all areas of the City within one mile of the border of the B-5 Central Business District.” Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect as provided by City Charter.
