Public Hearing Notice City of Salem Planning Board City of Salem’s Planning Board will hold a public hearing for all persons interested in the application of Sydney Atkins for the property located at 23 Glendale Street, Salem, MA (Map 33, Lot 646) in the R1 (Residential One-Family) Zoning District for a C-ROD (Coastal Resiliency Overlay District) Site Plan Review in accordance with the following sections of the Salem Zoning Ordinance: Section 8.9 Coastal Resiliency Overlay District. Specifically, the applicant is applying for a C-ROD Site Plan Review. The applicant proposes to construct a new boatyard shed in the C-ROD overlay district. The Planning Board issued a Site Plan Review decision per section 9.5 for the proposed development on May 17, 2024. The public hearing will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 6:30 PM via remote participation with instructions to be posted to www.salem.com no later than December 12, 2024, in accordance with Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023.
