Programs must benefit very low, low and moderate income Salem residents and may be for: Public Services (i.e. housing services, food distribution, child care, job training, senior transportation, antipoverty programs, services for homeless persons, neighborhood safety and public school supplemental education) Affordable Housing Programs (i.e. rental downpayment assistance programs) Economic Development Programs (i.e. business technical assistance programs) RFPs are available from the Dept. of Planning & Community Development, 120 Washington St., (978) 6195685.
