Special thanks to the children of the Salem YMCA day care center for creating beautiful Valentine’s Day cards for our seniors. Code Wiz—Learn to Code, have fun! Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services is pleased to be offering additional online coding classes for children ages 7-17 through Code Wiz. We are offering 2 different 6 week sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Session 3:March 2nd—April8th and Session 4: April 13th—May 20th Registration is available at salemrec.com The Salem Council on Aging is planning a St. Patrick’s Day Drive- Thru lunch at the Community Life Center on Wednesday, March 17th at 11:00am. Teen Improv Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services will be offering this in-person program for teens ages 13-17 at the Community Life Center. Participants will explore the theater through the use of theater games. This program is free for Salem teens. Thursdays, March 4th—March 25th We are following all public health guide- lines with regards to COVID. Participants and staff must comply with social distancing requirements, wear face coverings at all times and complete a daily health and wellness form. We all love listening to Jim’s lectures and the Salem Council on Aging is pleased to be sponsoring these to bring the lectures into your home. You can view the lectures on SATV, channel 3 on the following days and times. Saturdays at 1:55pm Tuesdays at 11:50am Thursday at 11:00pm Easter Dinner—Sunday April 4, 2021 The Friends of the Salem Council on Aging are sponsoring home delivered Easter Meals for Salem Seniors who are homebound or alone for the Easter Holiday.
