Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services November 2020 Kickball Under the Lights Our After School Kickball has been so much fun that we decided to try it “under the lights” for another session in November. Children ages 8-14 are welcome to register for Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons from 4-5pm. Registration available at salem rec.com. Thanksgiving Food Drive The Salem Council on Aging is conducting a food drive to create Thanksgiving Baskets for seniors in need. We are collecting non perishable items as well as monetary donations or gift cards to purchase turkeys and the fixings. Please drop your items off in the large bin at the entrance to the Community Life Center beginning November 1st. Monetary donations/gift cards can be mailed or placed our drop box located next to the front door. Please call Rosanna at [PHONE REDACTED] for additional information. Saturday Morning Painting Class Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services is pleased to be offering another Saturday Morning Painting Class for children ages 8-14 at Mack Park. Saturday, November 7th 10:00am –12:00pm This program is free for Salem Children. The program is being funded by the City of Salem Department of Planning and Community Development and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Pop Up Farmer’s Market Tuesdays 10:00-11:00am Salem Community Life Center 401 Bridge St. The Salem Council on Aging will be providing FREE local produce at our “Grab and Go” drive up market. You may stay comfortably in your vehicle as we bring a bag of produce right to your car. Youth Pickleball Clinic Salem Park, Recreation and Community Services will be offering a 3 week clinic for youth ages 10-15. Floor Hockey at Collins Cove Children ages 8-14 are invited to work on their floor hockey skills on Monday afternoons at Collins Cove. You are welcome to bring your own stick or borrow one of ours.
