Neighborhood Meeting BelRed Family Resource Center To: Interested Parties, Residents and Property Owners From: Elton Lee, Evangelical Chinese Church Partners Churches and Organization: Creekside Covenant Church, Westminster Chapel, and Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission Subject: BelRed Family Resource Center - LAND-2016-01036 Location of Proposal: 2280 173rd Ave NE, Redmond WA 98052, on the corner of 173rd Avenue NE and NE 24th Street Date: May 1, 2017 Time: 5:15pm Doors 6:00pm Meeting Location: Redmond City Hall Council Conference Room 15670 NE 85th Street Redmond, WA 98052 Re: BelRed Family Resource Center will provide a combination of day time services and overnight emergency shelter to help women and their children journey out of homelessness and move into more permanent and stable housing. BelRed Family Resource Center will be operated by highly trained staff from Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. This is a privately funded partnership between Evangelical Chinese Church, Creekside Covenant Church, Westminster Chapel and Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. Evangelical Chinese Church, who owns the property, partner churches (Creekside Covenant Church and Westminster Chapel) and Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission are holding this meeting which will serve as an opportunity for interested parties and nearby property owners to review, comment, and ask questions of the applicant regarding their proposal. This meeting will be held prior to the City of Redmond Technical Committee taking final action on this project. The doors will open at 5:15pm and attendees who wish to make a comment or ask a question are encouraged to sign up upon arrival.
