Statement of Qualifi cations: Resumes Jim graduated from the University of Washington with a combined Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying and Civil Engineering. This specialized program provides a strong foundation for land development. Jim has worked in both the surveying and engineering fi elds since 1981 and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. Jim currently provides engineering design and project management services for a variety of projects including Master Planned Communities, single family plats, multi-family residential developments, condominium projects as well as offi ce and industrial parks. Jim specializes in project management, site design and utility design.within the North Redmond neighborhood. Years Experience: 28 Firm: Core Design, Inc. Core De- sign was chosen to provide civil engineering services for the new housing at Joint Base Lewis McChord. The project consists of 495 new units, over 170 acres. The design in- cludes low impact design features such as bio-retention and infi ltration. Cascade Village, McChord Air Force Base, WA Project Manager with Equity Partners team, Core Design was selected to provide civil engi- neering, surveying and site planning services for the Cascade Village housing retrofi t. The project consists of 62 units over approximately 35 acres and was designed to integrate into the existing recreational amenities that surround the site. Core Design provided conceptual site plans for approval, in addition to providing civil engineering drawings we are currently providing construction staking services as the project is being constructed. Woodbridge Crossing, Silverdale, WA Project Manager for Woodbridge Crossing, a master planned community near Silverdale, Washington. The project site is 119 acres and will potentially contain approximately 750 units. This unit count includes a variety of single-family lot sizes, multi-family site plans and an assisted living project. This project includes several miles of roadway, 420,000 c.f. of stormwater detention and approximately 300,000 c.y. of earthwork. Mill Creek Town Center, Mill Creek, WA Project Manager for providing civil engineering, surveying and construction staking services for the extension of Mill Creek’s Central Business District, which connects to a residential area to the north. The Town Center is the City’s signature project, which defi nes its desire to be an expanding commercial center in the region. Core prepared and submitted a binding site plan and provided the design services to construct the Center. Core also provided plans to extend Main Street to connect the Central Business District and the northern residential section. this project is a mixed use residential/commercial development over approximately 15 acres. City of Redmond Storm Water Retrofi t, City of Redmond, WA Project Manager for surveying services to the City of Redmond in support of an emergency drainage retrofi t design. These services included topographic surveying, as-built surveys and earthwork calculations. Lauren Heights, Issaquah, WA Project Manager for the planning, design and construction phase of the 50 unit, Division 60 (low income housing) project.
