Students that have mastered: grooming, correct riding posture, reining an obstacle course off- lead, and who are able to perform a correct sitting trot will proceed to the Novice level. Riders should repeat this course until they can confidently perform; independent grooming and saddling techniques, successful reining off-lead, sitting the trot off-lead, and begin work on posting trot skills. Designed to be repeated, and best suited for children that have completed the JHA-Intro level.
